The Gulfarium’s Inaugural C.A.R.E on the Coast Event

We had an incredible time at the "C.A.R.E. on the Coast" event hosted by Gulfarium Marine Adventure Park last weekend! It was a fantastic celebration of marine life conservation, and we're excited to share our experience with you.

The event took place on May 4, 2024, and it truly immersed us in the world of sea turtle rescue, rehabilitation, and release. The Gulfarium C.A.R.E. Center, which is the nonprofit branch of the park, shared their incredible work with us. In 2023 alone, they successfully treated over 130 sea turtles, each rehabilitation costing over $20,000 on average.

There were so many highlights of the event. We enjoyed a private dolphin presentation at the brand-new Dolphin Oasis, where we were mesmerized by the intelligence and beauty of these amazing creatures. Live music filled the air, adding to the coastal vibe of the event.

We also got an in-depth look at the C.A.R.E. Center and its current patients, which was both educational and heartwarming. It was inspiring to see the tireless efforts being made to save and rehabilitate sea turtles right here on the Emerald Coast.

Throughout the event, we had the chance to explore conservation-based vendors offering eco-friendly products and solutions. Plus, there was a silent auction and raffles where we bid on exclusive items, knowing that all proceeds would directly benefit the Gulfarium C.A.R.E. Center.

And don't forget to check out our awesome shots we captured of the entire event! It was truly a great time, and the new dolphin oasis is beautiful and a must-see! You can find more information on their website on how you can give back to the C.A.R.E Program.
